The shape of things to come

I hate making predictions. Here they are anyway.

I’m writing to you as the sun has set on the first day of the year. Earlier, I was complaining to a friend about how quickly the shadows grow long this time of year on the Front Range. “More time for stargazing,” he replied, and had a point for sure.

Now is the time many people look to the movement stars to find a key to the future, which is interesting, because starlight is a message from the past, and even more interesting when you consider that physics has shown us that we are all connected (yes, you and and the planet Saturn, which currently hangs like a jewel over the Rockies, are, in a weird way, connected too — we are embedded in the same fabric), so maybe astrology is not THAT silly after all.

I’m not going to use astrology to make my prediction for the coming year or two, however, but my intuition and the things that smarter people than I have told me as of late.

Maybe I’ll turn out to be extremely wrong, but being wrong is an opportunity to do better next time.

Prediction 1:

Trump and Musk may have a falling out in the first year or two of Trump’s presidency, there will be some regrets, possibly even legal ramifications for one or both of them.

I’m not basing this prediction on anything remotely political. These men are two divas. Divas embrace each other passionately, and then throw plates at each other just as passionately (for any idiots reading this, I’m not implying they are in a romantic relationship, look up something called metaphor).
