Hello! If you’ve followed me for a while, you already know that the kitchen is where I retreat to let my zigzagging mind rest — a rested mind is often the only defense against the chaos of news, and threats, and work, and weirdos.
A good time in the kitchen always starts with putting your phone down. For me, it also means music. Music is absolutely not required to do any of what I’m about to tell you, but tasks feel easier with the Beatles or St. Vincent or whoever you love.
